Training Venues

We currently have three training sites in the UK near Bracknell, Wisbech and Burton upon Trent.

Our sites are dedicated Equine Facilitated Therapeutic & Horsemanship centres where the herds are kept as naturally as possible with lots of freedom to roam, turn out and social interaction. They live in mixed herds, mares and geldings together so they can form friendship groups and have lots of relaxation time between client work.

The locations of our courses can be found in the details of our programmes as these will alter each year. Check here for the years locations.

LEAP Bracknell Site

Our site near Bracknell has a mix of retired polo ponies, western horses and ponies to choose from. We have a workshop area for group work, place to keep warm, have refreshments and relax, we also have a tipi as classroom space, large arena and fields to run our training courses from. The horses can roam freely around these areas (weather permitting!) and interact in our training, often bringing their own learning experiences to trainees!

LEAP Derbyshire Site

Our site in Derbyshire is in the heart of the National Forest, offering the opportunity to connect with nature as well as the herd, with forest lodges across the field it offers an immersive experience away from modern technology. The herd is a mixed herd of retired competition horses, current competition horses and Friesians. We have a barn to sit and have refreshments in, a yurt classroom space, large arena, square pen and willow screened fire circle. The horses roam freely around the paddocks and choose how to engage in many of the exercises we teach to trainees.

LEAP Norfolk Site

Our site in Norfolk, a few miles from Wisbech is theme of International horsewoman and member of the LEAP Training team. It is a purpose built centre in a beautiful and tranquil setting where workshops, horsemanship courses and much more takes place through the year.
